While there are a lot of toothpaste recipes out there, you need to make sure the recipe is actually good for your teeth. So, what kind of toothpaste can you make at home? We have some suggestions.

Why Do You Need Toothpaste?

The main reason you need to use toothpaste is because toothpaste cleans the plaque off your teeth. Plaque is a film on your teeth caused by bacteria. If it is left untreated, the plaque will harden into tartar, which you will not be able to get off. We have to take it off for you.

When you are a child, we recommend you use fluoride in your toothpaste, because it helps to prevent tooth decay. However, once you are an adult, you don't need as much fluoride in your toothpaste, because your teeth have stopped growing. There is also fluoride in your drinking water as well. Many adults don't want to use traditional toothpaste because of the chemical's toothpaste contains.

Natural Toothpaste

There are adults who choose to use natural toothpaste. They want to have control over what they put in their bodies, and they don't want any additional chemicals. Many people believe that when toothpaste is produced, chemicals are added that are bad for your body. If you don't want to add chemicals to your body, you can opt for natural toothpaste. You can brush your teeth with baking soda and water. Some adults have a toothpaste recipe that calls for a combination of baking soda, coconut oil and one of your favorite essential oils, such as mint or cinnamon.
